Corby Rock Farm was the property of the Crown until it was bought by the Hesom Family in 1894. The farm is currently seeing it’s fourth generation of Hesom’s.
	The Blue Pig Hotel on Corby Rock Farm was originally a stopover for stage coaches and ox wagons on the road to Nqutu, in the early 1900’s. This hotel burnt down in 1925 and all that remains is a large fir tree, still flourishing in the fields.
